‍

About the Zayed Sustainability Prize

The Zayed Sustainability Prize is a prestigious global award that recognises organisations delivering innovative and impactful solutions to some of the world’s most pressing challenges across Health, Food, Energy, Water and Climate Action. Since its establishment in 2008, the Prize has supported innovators around the world whose work has collectively impacted more than 400 million people.

Being selected as a finalist means that GOAL 3 will:

• Receive US$100,000 in funding to further our work
• Have the opportunity to win the US$1 million Health category grand prize
• Join the Zayed Sustainability Prize Awards Ceremony in Abu Dhabi on 12 January 2027

Recognition for our mission

And this recognition could not come at a better time for GOAL 3. We are rapidly scaling IMPALA across sub-Saharan Africa and this prize will catalyze our efforts, allowing us to reach those who need it most.  We are honored that the selection committee and jury were able to see what we see in our work everyday. By empowering health workers through IMPALA, we can make a measurable difference in the standard of care in low-resource settings, and help improve the lives and health of millions of people.

‍

On to Abu Dhabi

A huge thank you to the Zayed Sustainability Prize for selecting GOAL 3 as a finalist and for supporting organisations working to turn sustainable innovation into measurable impact. We are incredibly proud of our team, our partners and, above all, the healthcare workers and hospitals who continue to build and improve IMPALA together with us.

Next stop: Abu Dhabi in January!
