We founded GOAL 3 Rwanda

November 2022

Over the past few months we have been busy setting up a local company in Rwanda. We are proud to officially announce GOAL 3 Rwanda Ltd. is founded! The aim of this step is to be an innovation, sales and service hub in Rwanda, from where we will also continue to expand to other countries in East Africa.

Our colleague Jelle moved to Rwanda with his wife Annemarie to focus on setting up a local office. The first local staff member for GOAL 3 Rwanda Ltd. has already been hired and as of December he will be supporting our software development team! We work from the Norrsken Kigali house in Rwanda, a large building with more than 100 startups and a beautiful garden, see the photo below:

To get off to a good start, we are now busy setting up a large study, called PIMANI. With this study we want to implement our IMPALA systems in three hospitals in Rwanda, in order to prove the added value of the IMPALA system through an official clinical study. In addition, we are in the process of signing an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the implementation branch of the Ministry of Health of Rwanda as one of our main partners. We are very warmly welcomed in Rwanda and are looking forward to building something for the future here.
